About
Berington Club is a deed restrictred community consisting of 134 homes, located in the unincorporated area of Sanford, in Seminole County, Florida, west of Interstate 4 and south of State Route 46. The roadways and the common areas in the community are owned by the association, and the single entrance is controlled by a gate access system.
Wilson Elementary School is directly across the street from the community, allowing the neighborhood kids to walk to school. Seminole Towne Center Mall is a three or four minute drive across the interstate, and many residents ride their bikes down the trail to the Colonial Towne Center shopping district for lunch and a movie. In addition, being located half way between the "World Famous" Daytona Beach and all of the Orlando attractions means that there is always something to do.
Schools
Elementary School - Wilson Elementary is located directly outside of Berington Club so it is easy to walk your children to the school, attend school functions and best of all, no waiting in long car lines. Also, Wilson has earned an "A" rating by the Florida Department of Education since 2002.
Middle School - Markham Woods Middle is the home of the Mustangs. It is about a 7 minute drive (3 miles) so it is right around the corner and traffic is very light.
High School - Seminole High School is the home of the Fighting 'Noles. It is a short drive away, almost all highway, with fairly light traffic.
Shopping
There are tons of shopping options available, from the Seminole Towne Center Mall to lots of local and chain restaurants and services.
The Seminole Towne Center Mall contains approximately 120 stores and services and is a short 10 minute drive.
Also right around the corner from the mall are additional shopping opportunities like Target, Walmart, Stein Mart, Kirkland's, Sams Club, BJ's Wholesale, The Olive Garden, and almost all of your favorite chain restaurants.
Not to mention two different Publix Supermarkets that are only 1.3 miles away in different directions.
Historic Sanford
Don't forget to visit historic downtown Sanford, only a short 15 minute drive. Downtown Sanford offers lots of local shops and restaurants, everything from an original German restaurant to micro breweries to boutiques, there is something for everyone.
Not to mention their Alive After 5 which is Central Florida's largest recurring street party celebrating local artist, food, drinks and live entertainment. Or take a walk along the 2 mile paved trail that runs along the edge of Lake Monroe and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
